Sick Day Call-Off Procedure

If your child is not in school, you will receive an automated call from our one call system.  You no longer need to call your child off sick, but you will need to send a written excuse to school (within 3 days) stating the reason for the absence.  A doctor's excuse is required if the absence is 3 or more days in a row.  After seven absences, you will receive a letter from the principal regarding the absences.  After ten absences, all future absences will require a doctor's excuse. Approved trip requests and absences covered by a doctor's excuse ARE INCLUDED in this total.   Unexcused or excessive absences can lead to fines. Excessive tardies will add up to days missed also so please review our attendance policy. Our attendance policies are in the student handbook, and are set according to state law.

If you have any questions, please contact Audrey Crone in the attendance office at 570-784-6102.
