Hello Bloomsburg,

My name is Heid Mintzer, and I am a speech and language pathologist.  Often people wonder what exactly does an SLP do.  In the school setting, speech therapists work with children who have difficulty understanding or expressing language. 

I am a local, and grew up in Bloomsburg and never left.  I attended Bloomsburg University and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology.  I furthered my education with a Masters of Science degree in Speech Pathology from Marywood University and a Masters of Education from Bloomsburg University.

In my spare time, I enjoy exercising, walking, and any crafts.  Summer is my favorite season with Fall a close second.  Coffee is a must, any flavor or kind.

I am thankful for the opportunity to work and live in such a great community.  Go Panthers!
